COBA Plastics is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Pete Jesson to Technical Director. Pete now heads the recently re-structured Technical Development team comprising of Stuart Yeoman, Aldo Viana and Richard Wearn.
As many will know, Pete has a vast amount of engineering skill and knowledge, having been with COBA since 1984 when he originally joined the company as a maintenance engineer progressing to Engineering Manager in 1995.
During this time, Pete has played a key engineering role in the technical development of COBA’s business. He is now poised to take this further utilizing the specialist skills of the core Technical Development team from concept and specification through to manufacture and final delivery.
“I am delighted to take on this new and very exciting challenge,” says Pete Jesson. “It is the next chapter for me at COBA as a result of furthering my design and development skills, and the knowledge gained from recent university studies including a Design and Innovation Diploma (Dip design In) in 2009. I am also very near completing a B eng (Hons) at Open University so this education is extremely beneficial both on a personal and business level.”
The Technical Development team will be instrumental in proactively creating new processes and introducing key new products to COBA’s existing portfolio. This will achieve significant business growth in line with customer demand and the company’s next vision targets.
