COBA Plastics Ltd is pleased to announce, with immediate effect, the promotion of Emanuel Sarikas to the position of Key Account Manager.
Having joined the company in December 2009, Emanuel (who shares German and Greek nationality) has used his extensive knowledge of automotive engineering and sales to secure high volumes of new business in Germany in the automotive seating sector for COBA Plastics Ltd.
This new business has brought with it a number of significant automotive contracts in Germany. This has spearheaded some exciting product development and component supply projects for major automotive manufacturers, including Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, Porsche and Daimler.
“Emanuel’s promotion is a direct result of his success and efforts in delivering substantial sales growth for COBA Plastics in the German automotive market. This new responsibility will see him develop this business further as he continues to build on these key relationships through efficient, proactive CRM and sales support in general,” explains Nick Wood, European Sales Manager – COBA Plastics Ltd.
As Key Account Manager, Emanuel’s role concentrates on key German based customers, to whom he will be providing informed technical and commercial support without communication problems caused by language barriers. His responsibility also extends to establishing new key automotive account business for COBA Plastics within Germany.
