Nick Wood has joined COBA Plastics Ltd as European Sales Manager. Nick has a strong automotive background, having previously graduated and worked in automotive engineering roles and more recently, as ProjectProgramme Manager for a tier one automotive supplier.
Having grown up with the family engineering business, Yorkshire born Nick moved to Germany for a year working for an automotive tier one company as a student engineer, which proved to be the foundation for his German knowledge. His time in Germany also helped him to competently speak the language. Completing his engineering degree with honours, Nick graduated from University in 1998 and fulfilled a variety of roles for automotive suppliers including product development engineering and professional project programme management.
It was through this connection that COBA Plastics, a longstanding supplier to the automotive industry, and Nick Wood first became acquainted and the opportunity arose for him to move into yet another challenging role to further evolve his career, this time transferring his skills to sales management. Nick assumes responsibility for COBA Plastics’ sales team and will proactively interface with COBA’s pan-European customer base.

Nick lives with his wife Claire in Burley in Wharfedale in Yorkshire. Away from work he enjoys playing golf and follows rugby.
