Building the Engineering Team

COBA has welcomed Stuart Yeoman and Darren Gilder on board its growing engineering team in the respective roles of machine builder and machinist. Both joined COBA from Bedfordshire Plastics Machinery. a supplier to COBA Plastics Ltd for many years – and a company that had previously been run by Stuart in Leighton Buzzard.

Stuart Yeoman brings with him tremendous experience and knowledge in the field of extrusion ancillary equipment design and build. Darren has worked for Stuart for some time in the machine building team. Both continue to be based in Leighton Buzzard for the foreseeable future.

COBA Operations Director, Jonathan Atkinson says, “This is already proving to be a significant benefit to the strategic development of our engineering activities. We now have much more control over our machine building capabilities and this increases our engineering capacity as a whole group. Although not based at our Fleckney location, both Stuart and Darren keep in close contact via our engineering team meetings under the direction of COBA Plastics.”
