We have recently installed two new Arburg Vertical TPE overmoulding machines in COBA Automotive’s manufacturing facility in Slovakia.
The installation further enhances our manufacturing capacity and capability in Slovakia. The investment is supporting a number of new automotive projects which have been awarded to COBA for the Opel Meriva, the Citroen C3 and the Renault Captor. These include highly technical components for fixed and moving glass roof glazing systems, utilising a combination of both our plastic extrusion and overmoulding processes.
All the extrusions are being manufactured in the UK, while the overmoulding is carried out in Slovakia.
Our ever-evolving overmoulding capability, combined with our expertise in product design simulations, weight saving material ideas and use of recyclable materials, allows us to be innovative in the market, and produce a wide range of highly technical components for the automotive industry.
